Parking Restrictions Aquatic Reserve

Please familiarise yourselves with parking restrictions at Aquatic Reserve so that you won’t incur a parking ticket or the wrath of local residents.

     “The circular grassed area at Aquatic Reserve may be parked on once the other designated parks are full (this also applies on training days). If vehicles are parked on any areas other than those stipulated, they may incur a Council Infringement Notice.  Parking is also available on the other side of Bower Road.” 

Parking is also NOT PERMITTED on any of the bitumen areas at Aquatic Reserve unless it is in the designated parking areas.  

Failure to abide by the Council’s conditions will result in the issue of Parking Infringement notices.

Some of our parking problems could be improved by:Aerial map showing designated parking and the circular grassed area.  

1. Car pooling
2. Parking in a uniform manner on the circular grassed area
3. Making use of the parking area across Bower Road
4. Parking in streets adjacent to the southern side of Aquatic Reserve.  This should be as a last resort and not cause any inconvenience to residents accessing their properties.

Council officers also work on weekends, are aware of our regatta bookings, and will check.
